About Our Introduction To Sailing Program
Our beginner program compromises of 5 lessons. Four of these lessons are practical lessons and the last one is a theoretical lesson. In total the beginner program is 14 hours.
Practical lessons are given at sea with a 7-meter keelboat in 4 lessons, 3 hours each (4x3 hours). The lessons are group lessons with 4 people in the boat. Practical lessons can be taken between 9-12 / 12-15 / 15-18 hours.
In 14 hours you will learn how to sail a sailboat with only wind and sails. During the practical and theoretical lessons, you will learn basic sailing skills; getting to know main sail and genoa, introduction to basic sailing maneuvers and knowledge, the wind direction, sailing knots. That’s why it’s important to learn sailing by practice.
About Our Introduction To Yachting Program
Our basic yachting program compromises of 4 lessons. Three of these lessons are practical lessons and the last one is a theoretical lesson. In total the basic yachting program is 16 hours.
Practical lessons are given at sea with a 11-meter sailboat in 3 lessons, 4 hours each (3x4 hours). The lessons are group lessons with 4 people in the boat. Practical lessons can be taken between 09.00-13.00 / 14.00-18.00 hours.
During the practical and theoretical lessons (in16 hours), you will learn the basics of how to dock a boat to a marina, how to drop anchor and how to take anchor, advanced sailing maneuvers, sailing knowledge and sailing navigation. We will talk about everything what you need in the boat.
